School Counseling

We are here to help students and parents navigate the world of high school academically and socially as well as prepare for the futures that they intend to build. Successfully completing high school and making decisions about what to do after graduation can be overwhelming. As you have questions, challenges and ideas, feel free to use this page to find answers and guidance. If you need help beyond what is available here, contact your counselor to set up an appointment.
Vision and Mission Statement
Our counseling team is made up of three School Counselors and one College Access Counselor. We work together to help students at each grade level and each career/education interest. 9th and 10th grade students see Ms. Lancaster, the class of 2020 sees Mrs. Penagos and the class of 2021 sees Mr. Kindiger. Mrs. Glancy is our College Access Counselor, mainly focused on the junior and senior classes each year.

You can contact each of us on the CONTACT US tab.

December 3rd is Giving Tuesday, but why not make GIVING your focus for the whole month? Giving Tuesday is celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give. Identify your gifts, pick a cause that gets you fired up, and give back - not just on December 3 for GivingTuesday, but every day (www.givingtuesday.org).
